Welcome To The Ibaha Tribal Council
Welcome To The Ibaha Tribal Council
The Deer leads with kindness, wisdom, and foresight. They walk ahead, ensuring the people move with balance and purpose, never straying from the path laid by their ancestors. Their way is not forceful but one of understanding, guiding through patience and clarity.
The Eagle sees beyond the present, offering vision and spiritual guidance. They remain above, watching over the people, ensuring that their course aligns with the higher forces that shape their destiny. Their wisdom is celestial, their presence a reminder of the people’s sacred connection to the unseen.
The Panther is both warrior and liberator, a force that speaks when others cannot. Their voice carries power, ensuring that truth is never silenced. Though they do not seek battle, they are always prepared, moving with purpose and striking only when necessary to defend and reclaim what is theirs.
Matrilineal Leadership: The council is led by tribal mothers, known as the Beloved Women, who hold the authority to approve or remove laws.
Clan Chiefs: Chiefs serve as representatives of their families but do not have unilateral power. Governance decisions are made collectively, respecting the wisdom of elders.
Clan Autonomy: Clans maintain full control over their own structures, including membership, documentation, and internal governance.
Our governance prioritizes self-sufficiency, cultural preservation, and environmental stewardship, ensuring that we remain independent and thriving on our own terms.
Wolf, Snake, Bear, Raccoon, Sea Clans and more exist beyond the council’s structure but remain welcome should they choose to return. Each family holds its place within the greater whole, maintaining autonomy while standing as one.
This structure is ancient, rooted in the ways of those who came before. It is not imposed by force, nor dictated by any one hand, but upheld by the will of the people and the wisdom of the mothers who decide who will speak. Let it be known—this is the way of the Ibaha.
