Family Enrollment

Yeye Ibaha (The Ibaha Tribal Council) extends a warm invitation to families who wish to honor their heritage and contribute to the preservation of our Southeastern Indigenous traditions. We are committed to upholding the sacred values of lineage, clan, and community, and we are pleased to welcome families who share in this mission.

Enrollment is lineal - membership is based on bloodline, not adoption. Clan affiliation is passed through the mother’s line. If the mother is absent, the child will be taken into the father’s mother’s clan. Families only—individual men cannot apply, as enrollment is centered around family and clan continuity. Commitment to the Council—enrolled families must honor and contribute to the governance, cultural preservation, and responsibilities of Yeye Ibaha.
